                  Unit 9- King Ubu Play         24/05/2019 Context We have been Introduced to the play Ubu which is a play parodied from the Scottish-Shakespearean play Macbeth although there are some references to Hamlet and King Lear. This can be seen especially when Billikins plots to kill Pa Ubu for revenge on killing his father. The play was originally published in French by Alfred Jarry but was later translated to English by Kenneth McLeish.  It was first performed in France in the  Théâtre de l'Œuvre on   December 10, 1896. Unit 8- Personal Project and presentation.               29/04/2019 Context For this Unit we will be blogging about our Progression route, Not only is this vital in the near future but it actually plays a big part in our course, especially when we have to come up with the skills that we posses and how they could take us to the place that we want to be. We had to come up with a skills list for this unit and we had to write down skills that we posses or skills that we hope to gain. In this course especially we have been using our honed skills and developing new skills throughout this course. UNIT 7- Production Values of container 11/03/2019 Me being changed to another group in Sheena's lesson. I've been changed to another group from the one that I was in before. Before I was in the second group which conceded of Joey, Ahmed and Maya aswell as a few other people who were Ahmad, Jemal and Fatima respectfully. (These are characters from the play that we are doing.)   Me and Joey were then put in group 3 which consisted of 3 other people as in the likes of Kamille, Irene and Tullullah, which one of whom hasn't been in the class during the last few weeks. These last few months have been quite difficult with the performance happening in three weeks later in the time of writing and there are many people who still haven't learnt their lines especially me. Unit 4: Production This Unit is specifically for the things that we do in Rebecca's lesson.  Majority of the times that we have been in this lesson we have be en going through Artists and the things that a production crew tend to go through when they are backstage. Or what needs to be done for a concert to be successful.  We will be seeing and identifying the jobs behind the scenes.  A lot of the sessions that I tend to have with Rebecca I would also write on the other previous posts. Things such as the Britney Jean documentary.  This was when we watched the Britney Spears Documentary and w e saw what sort of planning it takes to be able to create a show (A concert) The documentary takes us behind the scenes on what goes when a showbiz event is being organised. Unit 5, 6 and 7- Immigration Context This Project is combined with three units, 5,6 and 7. In these Units we will be going through all the aspects of the play container. This unit was supposed be the one where many things were planned and supposed to be done but due to a few circumstances we couldn't make the most out of this unit because of something that had happened to our drama teacher Rob.
